James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte LLP in 2009 and has since held Financial Director positions in the Professional Services and Technology sectors, most recently Financial Controller at Canonical (an International Technology Company providing Cloud services). During his time at Canonical James worked on some fantastic projects implementing new systems and processes which resulted in travelling to San Francisco and China. Working Internationally was something James relished and he already has designs on taking Lesko Modular to the International market.
James co-founded Lesko Modular with Paul in August 2017. They both feel very strongly about the need to build quality affordable homes, easing the housing crisis, using offsite construction methods.
Naturally, James will leverage his background in Finance to take a planned approach to growing the business. He’s also keen to understand more about Eco friendly materials and is prepared to get on the tools and learn about modern construction & manufacturing methods.
James and Paul’s vision and values are embedded in everything they do. James’ ambition is to see Lesko grow to be an industry-leading, innovative business - a place where people enjoy coming to work.
James likes nothing more than spending time with his growing family. In his small amount of spare time he is training to enter an Ironman competition.
